Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she is in charge of covering all things including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since worked as a White House reporter for FOX News, covering both the Biden and Trump administrations regarding space-related issues. Kristin also reported on impeachment hearings for President Trump, the 2020 Presidential campaign and efforts by two administrations in order to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. The reporter also went on numerous journeys with the Vice President and President of the United States and was a part of a classified visit to Afghanistan along with the then-President Donald Trump. Kristin was a fixture in the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for over a decade before becoming a part of the CBS network. Kristin was the recipient of one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as the CBS affiliate's one-man band reporter. Using her skills on the set, Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. She is currently living in Washington, D.C., with her family, including their daughter, who is three years old.
